Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins (born in Mexico) is an Mexican American sportscaster. She's an ESPN news anchor and hosts SportsNation often. She began her career at ESPN in the year 2016. Her mother is the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is a native bilingual. Since she was nine years old, Collins's capacity to communicate in two languages allowed her to get the job she wanted in Miami as a production assistant at Univision. In St. Petersburg, she was then hired to the CBS station to work as an sports reporter. In 2009, she moved in Rio Grande Valley to work as a reporter for KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. In reporting on news stories about drugs and immigration issues from both sides of the Mexico-Texas Border, she served as reporter for news for KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 at 5pm, then as a reporter for news with a news anchor in English for 9 pm, then a news anchor for 10pm before returning to channel Spanish channel. The duties of anchoring for sports or weather were also frequently demanded. Deportes 23 is Univision Dallas' affiliate, where she is more responsible. She also did segments on MLB's ALDS ALCS and World Series the Dallas Cowboys the NBA postseason as well as the Finals FC Dallas and the Dallas Stars. Besides this, she produced the local Univision 23 sports program Accion Deportiva Extra on which she also served as anchor. She became a sports host for the morning program of Despierta America Deportes. She also served as anchor of the sports segment for Primer Impacto, a magazine program on the UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta Collin's parents were originally from Veracruz Mexico. In Mexico City she was conceived on the 22nd November 1985. There is an older sister. The family moved into Miami in 1992 after leaving Mexico. After a short time, her father separated from her mother. She was subsequently remarried by 1995 naval architect named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away of kidney carcinoma in the year 2006. Her residence was at Canton Ohio with her older sister over the summer in which she was provided with the opportunity of a job. Antonietta was a senior in high school with an idea of what she thought her future would look like, traveled to Mount Union University to see whether the university was suitable for her. The campus was stunning and provided the education she was looking for. After graduation, she attended the university with a major in media studies. The professor she had was Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was part of the class, established a lasting relationship with the student. Her professor, Mark Bergmann, inspired her by his passion for journalism. Additionally, he profoundly influenced her.
